At Dragons BNC, we're dedicated to providing high-quality, safe, and effective netball training for all our players.
Our experienced coaching team includes 8 dedicated coaches, with 4 holding the prestigious England Netball Level 2 qualification. This means every session benefits from the expertise of at least one Level 2 coach on court, supported by enthusiastic coaching assistants. You can be assured of a safe and professional environment, as all our coaches, assistants, and team managers are DBS checked, fully affiliated with England Netball, and most are First Aid trained.
Players enjoy two comprehensive training sessions per week (mid-week on Tuesdays and Saturdays), plus our teams compete in Berkhamsted and Aylsbury netball leagues every Sunday and Thursday respectively throughout the season across all age groups. This provides ample opportunity for skill development and valuable match experience.
Dragons BNC is more than just a place to play netball; we're a community focused on developing well-rounded individuals. We actively support our players' netball journeys beyond the court, offering unique opportunities such as:
• Umpiring Qualifications: We actively support our players in achieving England Netball IOA umpiring qualifications, providing all the necessary guidance, invaluable match-play experience, and thorough preparation for their assessments.
• Coaching Opportunities for Parents: We believe in nurturing a love for netball throughout our community! We offer netball coaching qualification opportunities for parents eager to get more involved with the club.
• Duke of Edinburgh Award: Our club offers fantastic opportunities for players to fulfil both the physical and volunteering sections of their Duke of Edinburgh Award.
• Shaping Future Leaders: Looking ahead, we're thrilled to be developing exciting new opportunities for our Year 11 and 12 students to step into Netball Assistant Coach roles, providing them with invaluable leadership and coaching experience as they mature.
